My entire life I’ve loved music as a form of expression. It’s always been an easy, natural way for me to express my heart. Just the other day, my squad teammates and I worshipped in the kitchen of our host home singing and dancing to God's love. It brought tears of joy to my brown eyes. 

God loves worship. He longs for it. think of that! We have an opportunity every day, through worship, to satisfy the heart of one who paints sunsets, breathes life into dust and forms galaxies, animals, angels and humankind with his power of his voice. Worshipping is one of the most powerful ways to connect directly to the love, compassion, power and grace of God. In worship, walls we’ve placed between God and us get torn down, just as God tore the veil at the death of Christ. In worship our hearts become soft, aware, open to the glorious of God's nearness. In worship, God makes his nearness known to us with the power of his presence. We bring the creator immense joy and satisfaction when we worship through singing. You see, God is after our hearts everyday. In worship we discover the reality of God on a level different than reading scripture or spending time in prayer or community. In worship we can dance and sing the celebration of God's goodness we receive from him.  We can worship Jesus at any given moment like how cool is that!! I constantly want to give the Father my heart, and by doing so i’m crowning Him Lord, giving Him the glory he so deserves and exalting Him as King in my life. So when we worship, it’s not only time to engage our mind, not only time to engage our hearts, not only a time to engage our spirits. Lets engage all of ourselves in receiving the Father’s heart. Worship is intimacy. It is encounter of love we experience with Jesus when we draw near to him.
